Words of encouragement

I'm 32+5 and really starting to struggle now with hideous restless legs! I've had it a while but it seems to be getting worse, I'm unsure if it's because I'm getting closer to the end and focusing on it too much?! Either way, it's driving me insane! I'm using magnesium spray, but it's a bit hit and miss as to whether it works... it never stops it entirely but does help some days.
I'm also just so uncomfortable some days already...

I guess I just need words of encouragement to help get me through the next 7 weeks... it seems like a such a long time away!! 🙈

7 weeks is really not that long. I have at least 14 weeks to go and I’m housebound. The only time I leave is for my hospital apps. Try and enjoy them, maybe plan in a couple of things to look forward to in that time.

Sorry to hear that, do you mind me asking why you're housebound?
I think I'm just starting to really feel it now, the heat is horrendous!! I haven't enjoyed this pregnancy which I don't think has helped, I've constantly had one thing or another to make it a miserable time.

I just really wish I was one of the ladies who really love being pregnant, don't get me wrong I am very happy to be pregnant and it will be 100% worth it but I just don't think i could do it again

I have had severe sciatica from week 4, gave up work/driving at 16 weeks and looking back I don’t even know how I lasted that long. When my DH or other family member takes me to my apps they always ask if I want to go somewhere else but the pain isn’t worth it. I tried to go to mothercare at maybe 17 weeks, nearly fainted with the pain and ended up crying in the shop.

Not sure if this is your first, but if so be selfish and make the next few weeks as nice as you can for yourself. Eat ice cream and bbq!

That sounds awful! I suffered sciatica for about 4 weeks, but now I've gone part time at work it's all but solved it thankfully! A friend of mine had such bad pelvic pain she ended up in a wheelchair so I can understand how awful that must be for you.

It is my first so plenty of rest thankfully. The heat has been horrible yesterday and today (I hadn't minded it at all until yesterday!) thankfully my DP is very supportive and tells me to get off to bed for an hour which really helps.

So close to the end now, impatience is kicking in!!

I remember the restless legs. It feels like forever but is a blink of an eye.
