I am 10wks pg and think i have done something stupid. I have been so careful re what i do / do not use. Have not been to hairdresser to get my hair highlighted due to fear of chemicals! Yet this morning I used a depilatory cream on my bikini line. After about 5 mins I suddenly thought 'how stupid' and washed it off thoroughly. I can't find much about it on the internet - mostly it says may be safe but no studies done yet to show if it is safe or not!! Is this likely to cause probs??? ANyone else done the same thing?

you will not have harmed your baby by doing this! you are exposed to chemicals constantly, in the food you eat, the water you drink and the air you breathe..absolutely no point driving yourself mad..take reasonable steps to look after yourslef...but defuzzing your bikini line is not going to do any harm IMO

i used to defuzz with creams throughout my pg as after a while couldnt reach my own legs to use razor an my dp used to put the cream on an wash it off
