My mum fell pregnant with my sister at 44, after a miscarriage, only one ovary and sixteen years of secondary infertility. Baby sister is doing her GCSEs at the mo. Mum’s pregnancy was her was much more straightforward than hers was with mine at 27 - she had pre-eclampsia and I was three months early.

I hope I will be a success story! I am currently 23 weeks pregnant, im 44, the baby is due the month before I turn 45. I had three miscarriages at 8 /9 weeks when I was 42.
Good luck. It can happen!!

I’m 44 and currently 38weeks pregnant with baby no 3! Thought I was having another ovarian cyst but turns out I was preggers (surprise!) I’ve had consultant led care due to previous pre eclampsia (and age I suppose), but no real dramas so far. Upside is you get a lot of scans to see baby. I was offered NIPT free on nhs due to previous results and came back less than 1 in a million. Having elc (due to previous complications) on Monday and can’t wait! 🤗

Thank-you so much ladies, it gives me a little hope in a situation where I feel hopeless and that I shouldnt even contemplate the possibility of it working out.
Congratulations to you all!!
MsBump - so exciting for monday!! Good luck!.xx

Hi @ally18 , yes I conceived naturally, only 3 months after my DHs vasectomy reversal (which he'd had only a year earlier , straight after my miscarriages). So we feel very lucky to be having our last baby. :)
Good luck to you.

I had DD4 at 44. Massive surprise as youngest sibling was 16. She is now 5. Very straightforward pregnancy. Conceived even though I was on the mini pill and have endometriosis! DP very proud of his super sperm.

Congrats everyone! This gives me hope too, what a lovely positive thread Flowers

Kitty that amazing!
and so is your story moonflower, thanks for sharing, really good to hear your amazing stories.
I'm 5/6 weeks and have zero symptoms, this is how all my losses have been (compared to my successful pregnancy) so I am expecting worse - that plus my age and recurrent miscarriage history. Great to hear it can happen tho, thanks again.xx

My DM had me naturally at 44 after a miscarriage two years earlier - and now I’ve got two kids of my own. It can happen! X
