Bloody show

Hi. All, I lost my plug over 2 days and then this morning have had a bloody show. I rang the hospital just to check all was ok as I slipped on the stairs yesterday but they said sounds like the start, could be first sign but could also still be a while.
Just wondered how quickly after this people went into labour? Thanks

For both of mine babies arrived about 4 hours later, but I have ridiculously fast births. (Which may sound great but in reality isn't to be recommended!)

Scrap that, have just done the maths. 2 hours and 3 hours after blood/plugs!

Oh gosh yes 4 hours is pretty quick. I’m not having contractions at the moment, just feel very heavy. Did you have contractions straight away/waters go? The last few days I have been getting period type pains but only a few times a day max.

No waters until fully dilated and contraction 6 hours ish before.

So your contractions started before your show
