When will I produce milk?

I'm 32 weeks and I haven't started to produce milk yet, people keep asking me saying that they had started to produce it by now so I'm a little worried. Could it be because this is my first or did everyone else's come later on?🤔

Your milk comes in a few days aged delivery OP. You may get some colostrum before then, but I don’t think everyone does.

*after delivery

Crikey op I didn't until a few
Days after birth!

Milk comes after birth, colostrum (clear/yellow liquid) can come before.

It'll come in after birth. Mine took around 5/6 days IIRC. I never had any leaking colostrum before birth.

Bluebirdsky · 27/05/2018 00:16

How do you know that you don't have any yet? Is it because you are not leaking any or have you tried to express some out?
I am 35 weeks pregnant and have leaked no colostrum at all, they only reason I know there is some there is because if I hand express a tiny amount appears.
You could have some but just not know about it but either way I wouldn't worry too much, it will come.

For me it was four days after birth.

Roystonv · 27/05/2018 03:57

Never had any with either of my two and had no idea it was a thing. Everything worked just as it should after the births and I fed both for many months. So don't worry.
