Period like pains 35 +4 weeks

I'm 35+4 with my 2nd baby and today I've been getting period like pains. My first was a failed induction followed by a c section at 39 weeks due to baby distress and I never went into labour myself.
I've been getting Braxton hicks over the last couple of days and obviously that is normal but today I've been feeling lots of pressure low down, Tmi but my bits are also a bit swollen, I'm also feeling nauseous. Baby is moving fine. He has been switching between head down and breech so I'm wondering if he's just finally getting the right way round. Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same thing 33 weeks...I've been having braxton kicks ( I think🤷🏻‍♀️) for the past couple of days and today and yesterday I've been having period like cramps a lot of pressure in my vagina and bottom and feeling rather sick baby is moving around mine and I'm not in agony or what I would say pain but period cramps are uncomfortable...your not alone I just didn't know whether to call the mu or not ? Don't like to look like I'm a drama queen 😩 Given it's my first I have no idea what's normal

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm not in pain but it's uncomfortable pressure. Achy like period cramps. I feel stupid cause I've been pregnant before but I don't remember anything like this with my first but my last few months were not straight forward with her so I feel like this is all new haha

Watching with interest as I'm 35+3 and had PP and low back ache since Monday, also bad tummy ache and loose bowels. Midwife says it could be v v early labour and just to monitor for now but obviously if the pain gets unbearable, etc etc to call maternity assessment.

Saw my midwife today and mentioned the pains. She checked me over etc. Baby is 2/5 engaged so she said it was probably just him getting into position. Braxton hicks and mild pains is normal at this point. Obviously got told to keep an eye out for them getting worse etc.

Hello I'm 36 + 2 days and since Friday I've had the same, period cramps, funny tummy, but today they are worse and with lower back pain. I have my 36 weeks mw appointment tomorrow morning so I'm hoping to wait till then but it's starting to hurt more than be uncomfortable. The weekend it was just there but today I've had paracetamol and slept and it hasn't eased it :( doesn't help that it feels like she's trying to dig her way out 😂
