Myhummy or Ewan The Dream Sheep?!

I'm thinking of getting one or the other, for my DGS who is due in a few months.

They're quite pricey, so I'm not sure which one is best? Does anyone have an opinion?

TIA x

I’ve been looking at both and think I’m decided on a Hummy.

Ewan. We bought one for DD due in 2 weeks, loved it and kept it for ourselves and bought another one for the baby. Then my brother (40) stayed over, he loves it and ended up with one for his birthday 😂

isitfridayyet1 · 25/05/2018 14:25

I'd get the my hummy, as Ewan stops after about 20 minutes. We had both and I found that our baby son quite often wasn't asleep yet by the time the music on the Ewan ended.

My hummy can play for up to 12 hours I believe and also has a cry and motion sensor, so will come back in if baby starts crying.

balalalala · 25/05/2018 14:34

We had a ewan and ditched it for a myhummy. Much better!

Bluebirdsky · 25/05/2018 15:08

My hummy has a sensor which starts it up again if the baby stirs which Ewan doesn't do so for that reason I would probably say My hummy if your budget allows.

Sassy306 · 25/05/2018 15:40

Defo my hummy! Ewan didn't work for us or my 2 friends or my cousin but the hummy is fab :)

Sassy306 · 25/05/2018 15:43

Here's my little one still sleeping after 8 hours :)

Fluffybat · 25/05/2018 19:48

Myhummy. We have both but bought myhummy as sheep stops after 20 mins and my son would wake up again.

jaychops · 25/05/2018 21:13

We couldn't be without our Ewan. DD has had it since her very first night home from hospital and still uses it every night, she's 2.5. Expecting DC2 now and will definitely get another! Just to add to the above comments - there has very recently been a new Ewan released that does include a sensor.

Fia256 · 25/05/2018 21:19

We've got Ollie the owl! Was between him, the sheep and myhummy for us. Ollie has a sensor the same as the myhummy does but is more in the sheep price range

beargrass · 25/05/2018 21:21

Myhummy. You can wash them and not ruin the white noise bit. The new Ewan may be different (?) but I would want to be to wash it. Plus it goes for much longer.

BadPolicy · 25/05/2018 21:22

I've never hear of the others, but a few friends give Ewan great reviews.

jaychops · 25/05/2018 21:46

@beargrass yes that's another of the updates to Ewan - you can now remove the sensor/battery pack to wash it.

Promise I'm not on commission ha. We just found it an absolute god send.

lifechangesforever · 25/05/2018 22:11

There's a huge price difference between the two though isn't there.. I was set on Ewan because of the price but the timer seems to be an issue

lifechangesforever · 25/05/2018 22:13

Ok, maybe the prices aren't so different, I'm sure last time I looked the hummy was £100+ Confused

obsessedpoas · 26/05/2018 03:28

We've got an Ollie the owl as well from the gro company 🙂 love him ! He has a cry sensor as well

Fluffybat · 26/05/2018 22:52

The myhummy sleepyhead one which attaches to pram one is £30. It's not a cuddle one but It attached to cot bars and buggy bars.

Olive1988 · 27/05/2018 10:43

We were deciding between myhummy and ewan and then saw ollie the owl. Much cuter than my hummy, has a cry senser and is £34 at mothercare. Haven't used yet though as little bubba is still cooking xxx

dinosaurkisses · 27/05/2018 11:46

We have Ewan- DD is eight months now and doesn't "need" him to get to sleep, but he was invaluable during her first few weeks. I got used to him as well and considered buying one for my room after DD moved out at six months!

I've never felt the need to wash him as DD has never played with him- I was v wary of having anything in the cot with her so he's always been attached to the bars well out of her reach, and has stayed v clean.

I'd be interested in the deluxe version when dc2 comes along, but I wouldn't rush out to replace the one we have.

Thank you for all your replies Flowers

I will let DD know about Ollie The Owl Smile They all sound as good as each other, just cost dependant x
