I’ve been having tightenings every 5 minutes like clockwork for over 48 hours now. My whole tummy goes rock hard and intensity varies from mildly uncomfortable to extremely uncomfortable (I still wouldn’t say actually painful though, this is my second child). But even when mild they show on monitor every 5 minutes like clockwork.
As I said they’re not painful per say, but definitely uncomfortable. I’ve been admitted to hosp for suspected preterm labour as I’m 32 weeks today, and been precautionarily treated with steroid injections to develop baby.
Docs say too regular to be Braxton Hicks, but no acceleration like true contractions should have, so they’re unsure.
Anyone experienced anything similar?!?! Help!
