Basically I found out I was pregnant 2 days after I started a new job (It's a call centre job so nothing great) I'm on a permanent contract but in 6 months probation. I'm worried that I'll be let go as I've already had 3 days off due to sickness (Pregnancy sickness) my hubby keeps telling me to relax but I'm terrified

Can see why you're worried re probation period. Do your employers recognise a union? If so I'd join pronto.

Are you medicated for the sickness? There are loads of excellent and safe anti sickness tablets that your GP can prescribe. These might help to keep the sick days to a minimum.

They can't legally get rid of you due to pg, but that doesn't mean they can't try and find another reason to let you go. It's probably about minimising the risk of that at the moment.
