strange numb/stinging patch under my right boob

weird.. have had this for a while but its got much worse in the last week - just on the bra line under my right boob, i have a patch that seems to be either completely numb and tingly, or its stinging and really sore (but doesnt look sore and the skin isnt irritated at all). I put it down first of all to a bra that was too tight, but now its there when Im bra-less. Its also where lo's feet are usually, I spose maybe he could be pressing a nerve.. mad paranoid head says that its my liver and its not well.

God its too late for me to be freaking out - im bloody due tomorrow! thanks ladies xx

Sounds like a trapped nerve to me!! Dont worry too much about it, but if it really is worrying you, have a chat to your midwife about it (or GP).

RK - How many weeks are you now?

I've had similar sensations over the past 2 -3 weeks. I'm now 38+5.

I have: numb feeling; sensation of tendon being "twanged"; extremely painful sharp stabbing feeling. All under my right boob.

MW has told me baby is engaged, so it's a bum / foot combo. She also said the sharp pain was probably muscle spasms due to the baby getting bigger. HTH.

Hi Juicy, Im 40 weeks today! Kind of feels weird though, as baby is not likely to appear today - but this date - May 19th - is the date thats been the only thing Ive thought about for the last 8 months! Kind of depressing really..

Know what you mean about due date. I don't want Pod to show up early as DH not due home until Thursday, but at the same time, am bored, uncomfortable and irritable.

Am also eating like a pig due to boredom, so will probably add about a stone to my size by my due date

Hope your baby shows up soon. Am sure pains will leave us both once babies arrive (and we'll have something else to keep us busy then!)
