Hi Jess. I'm due in October too :-) Is this your first? (Mine is my second, but there will be a 7.5 year age gap so I've forgotten loads!)

Head over to the 'antenatal clubs' section under 'becoming a parent' and there is a big thread running with people all due in Oct.

Thegirlhasnoname · 24/05/2018 11:37

I’m due in October too :) 17 weeks and 5 day’s right now, and find have the next scan on the 5th June also. I’m excited to possibly find out the sex but also terrified about the potential anomalies that they look for!

JessB1301 · 24/05/2018 12:18

Yes this is my first baby so it's going into the unknown for me haha!
Everything is going ok so far, just started to get a few twinges and aches in my lower stomach over the past few weeks which I'm hoping are just stretching and growing pains.
What dates in October are you both due? Mine is the 23rd.

Due 5th Oct. DD was 4 days early but who knows this time!

I've had similar little twinges in the last few weeks and also did first time round, and it was put down to stretching and growing. Have a chat with your midwife if you're worried to put your mind at rest though 😊

Feeling any little flutters yet? I've felt 'something' for a few weeks, but it's only this week they are becoming stronger and more frequent little kicks. I'd forgotten how lovely it is in the early days before they are big enough to kick your ribs black and blue.

JessB1301 · 24/05/2018 15:30

Yes that's what I'm hoping it's down to, although some of them have been quite painful and only on the bottom left hand side of my lower stomach so I'm not sure? I was reading up online about it and came across something called Round Ligament Pain that I thought it may be but like you say I'll check with my midwife if they continue.
Where are you based?
Not had any flutters at all yet I can't wait until I do will make things seem more "real" then haha! Midwife said it could be anywhere between now and 24 weeks before I feel anything so fingers crossed it will be soon🤞🏻

My first is due on the 27th so just as unknown for me! I can’t wait for when my bump looks more bumpish with clothes on rather than like I have eaten too many pies - it’s definitely getting there though. Getting married in July so hopefully I don’t pop too much lol x

JessB1301 · 24/05/2018 16:18

Ahh not long after me then when your due. My belly is starting to be more rounded now but still wobbly like I've eaten too much haha! Can't wait for it to harden up. X

Hi everyone

I'm due on 15.10, I will have my 20 week scan next week.. 😬😬

Still no bump in sight yet!

BumbleNova · 24/05/2018 19:01

I'm due 24th. I've got an unmistakable bump. Bit worried I'm going to be massive?! Im hoping it's just because I'm short! And yes to the stretching pains, really sore. I think I felt baby move but I'm not sure!

Markygirl1995 · 24/05/2018 20:18

Due 17th October 19 weeks x

JessB1301 · 24/05/2018 20:54

Are you going to find out what your having @riaviolet? And is this baby number 1 for you? I've got quite a bump too @BumbleNova lol, everyone keeps telling me I'm going to be huge at the end. Where are you both based? X

Im due 25th. Really dont feel pregnant at all. Had a few stretching pains but nothing else yet. 18w today!

riaviolet · 24/05/2018 21:28

@JessB1301 - The last few weeks have flown by so quickly considering there's abit of a wait between 12 and 20 wk scan.. I'm not bothered what I have so long as it's healthy.. I couldn't really get a clear scan on the 12 week so curious to know how the baby appears on the scan..

beth251993 · 24/05/2018 21:29

Hi,
Im due on 5th October, not sure what i'v been feeling are kicks this is my first finding it harder to tell what's what and whats normal. Had alot of anxiety about it all up to now even though all was healthy at my 20 wk scan, so just my anxiety playing up for no reason. So excited for her to be born :)

BumbleNova · 24/05/2018 22:23

@jessb310 I'm London based. We are having a surpriseGrin. I'm still waiting for the energy increase and the heartburn has started. Oh joy.

Clarashan · 25/05/2018 05:25

Hi, i'm due on the 16th Oct with my first. I've been feeling what feels like bubbles which i have been told is kicks. Had my 20 week scan a bit early and found we're having a little girl. My tummy has started to round and harden but I still think there is quite a lot of chocolate playing its part.
