I am nearly 10 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and will need a cervical suture (shirodkar stitch) placed as I did with my 2nd. I lost my 1st baby at 21 weeks. However, the private consultant has now retired and has referred me to another, Ellis Downes. Has anyone had treatment with him and how was it? Also, has anyone actually had complications from having the stitch? Many thanks!
