am i pregnant??

I started my last period on the 13th April, came off on the 18th, a few days later i had brown discharge.
My period still hasn't come and I dont feel myself. I looked through the list of pregnancy symptoms and i dont show many however im worried. taken two pregnancy tests come back as invalid. I had a miscarriage 6 months ago, at 3 months pregnant. Help would be appreciated, thank you.

What is an invalid test? Do you mean negative?

I had one test with a faint line, and two come back as "invalid". Not sure if i done it wrong

In the control box there was no line.

I've never heard of a test with a result 'invalid' do you mean it was not clear? Or had you peed over the wrong bit?

Yes, think you need to wait a few days and test again, with first morning wee.

Well a faint line is still a line, if it showed within the allowed time for that particular brand of test. So, I'd say you were pregnant. If you want to confirm it then do another test tomorrow or the next day - maybe a different brand from the ones that didn't work properly.

Pregnancy tests show positive or negative; if you didn’t show one of these as positive then no you probably aren’t, invalid isn’t a response.

Also - next time don’t wee on the stick. Pee into a pot or something and then dip the stick into the urine for 30seconds. It’s far easier and you don’t end up peeing all over your hand or all over the stick!

AssinatedBeauty - were are you getting the faint line from? She said the tests were invalid? Speculating that someone might be pregnant when there is no concrete proof behind that can be quite damaging. Especially after a MC.

About the invalid tests - I had two boxes of two tests from Superdrug recently and all 4 tests came out as invalid with no control line. I use the dipstick method rather than midstream. So invalid tests do happen! I've never had that problem with any other type of test though.
