No symptoms with baby number 2?

Hi all, I'm just over 8 weeks pregnant with baby no.2 and I currently have barely any symptoms! By this point with my daughter I had awful sickness, back pain, extreme tiredness and lots of bloating. With this baby I've got absolutely nothing apart from tiredness, which I'm not even sure is down to pregnancy and probably due to the fact I have a 5 month old to look after😂 should I be worried that something is wrong or just grateful I have no symptoms? I had severe HG with my first pregnancy from 5 weeks till around 30 weeks so I was expecting the same again but so far nothing🤔

Is this normal with your second or something to be concerned about? Xxx

Totally normal. With both of my pregnancies I had no symptoms what so ever. Absolutely nothing. Bonus is that no one even had the slightest inclination that i was pregnant (family and work colleagues).

Enjoy it!! I can't imagine what it must be like to be constantly sick and feel nauseated.

In exactly the same position. 9 weeks and symptoms this time round are super mild.

At this point with DC1 I was literally on my knees with nausea and exhaustion.

It’s not normal to have symptoms that suddenly disappear but it’s normal to have no symptoms, weird I know. I had no symptoms with my DD’s at all, only with my DS and this pregnancy (which I believe is also a boy).

Id say normal. Every pregnancy is different. My first i had no symptoms at all with no sickness and with my 2nd i showed symptoms at 4 weeks and felt abit sickly. Smile

With my daughter I had zero symptoms but was ill before I found out and needed blood transfusion etc- this time round I'm polar opposite and it's a boy lol

Enjoy the no symptoms!

Pregnancies are different. You had it exceedingly bad first time around. Enjoy an easier ride this time. I also think that you haven’t got the time with a 5 month old to be examining every possible symptom. There is a lot less ‘pregnancy reflection’ in subsequent pregnancies.

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling a bit sick today so I think I may have jinxed myself🙈 since I had HG in my first pregnancy I was just expecting it in this one but so glad I don't have it as long as baby is okay! I think it's also true that I may not be noticing symptoms as much with this pregnancy as I have a little one to look after so it's serving as a distraction😊 xxx
