Multi vitamins

Hi I’m currently 8 weeks with my 4th. I took pre pregnancy vitamins for 6 months before I got pregnant but as soon as I got pregnant and the nausea started I couldn’t stomach the vitamins or keep them down so I’ve had to stop. I’m worried now 🙁
I’ve been eating what I can stomach which is usually at least 2 bowls of cereal a day. I know it’s not ideal but do you think that I could get enough folic acid from my diet instead?

It's near impossible to get the recommended 400 micro grams of folic acid from food, sorry OP.

I got sick with combined vitamins (pregnacare) so switched to just folic acid which caused no problems, you can get it cheaply from boots. Now I’m 16 weeks and the nausea has subsided I’m on seven seas combined vitamins.

Would agree with PP - just try some folic acid on its own as the tablets are tiny. I had awful sickness and nausea but did manage to keep those down most of the time.
Hope things ease off soon!

The combined vitamins make me feel really sick too so I took a combined vit d and flic acid. They were tiny and very cheap! Most places do them.
As my sickness settled I've been able to move onto combined, currently boots which have ginger in to help sickness, who knows whether that helps?!
