Accidentally took ibuprofen

So I was in pain overnight, and took two lots of what I thought was paracetamol, turns out it was ibuprofen, I rang my community midwife line, she said it should be ok, but on a website the nhs guide you to about taking ibuprofen, it says you should be seen to check baby, she didn't want to do that, I'm very worried as am 33 weeks and 6 days, any ideas?

I wouldn’t worry too much ! ( easier said than done I worry ALL the time) you have only taken it once not like you’re taking it regularly - if midwife not eased your mind call your gp... some women are given the go ahead to take it during pregnancy! Also people take much worse drugs throughout pregnancy and babies are fine! Hope you feel less anxious soon x

well i had two lots of ibuprofen once at 12ish then about 4.40, i suffer with anxiety anyway, so just concerned.

Well if you have bad anxiety what on Earth are you doing asking serious medical advice on an Internet forum... go to gp or pharmacist to settle your mind ?!
