Hey, need some help 😂 in the first trimester my cravings were up the roof! All I craved was sausages, sausage sandwich, marmite on toast, salt vinegar Pringles and tangfastics also strawberry trifle 😍BUT I've weighed myself and admittedly I've been avoiding it a while and noticed I've put on 2 stone! 😶😶😶😶 is this either good or bad or ok feel guilty I blame it on cravings - I'm 19 weeks pregnant too

I gained 3 stone. Still carrying it 9 months after giving birth.

I put on three stone, although not by 19 weeks. All I wanted to do was eat cheese sandwiches. You may find the weight gain tails off a bit towards the end when you're enormous and your stomach is squished!
I've got maybe 10lb left to lose at 7 months post prartum. It's slow going! But honestly don't worry!

Hi op, I think it probably is alot seen as you are at the half way mark and baby has alot of growing to do yet but the recommended weight gain depends on your pre pregnancy weight. There isn't anything you can do about it now though only try to get in some nutritious food. I know this is sometimes easier said than done too. If you are worried about it talk to your midwife im sure they will be able to help you out.

Although yeah like others have said, if you're worried speak to midwife or gp and try to swap In some healthy stuff!

I put on loooaaaaads of weight but in the third trimester. 4 stone in fact. The first 2 stone came off quickly and easily after the birth but the final 2 are being very difficult to shift. I'd try to reign it in but I remember that pregnancy hunger and it's easier said than done!!

I found that I could eat non stop in the first trimester and I still had a very good appetite until around 22 weeks or so. Now I’m 26 and don’t get me wrong, I love to eat (esp the naughty stuff) but I’m definitely eating and snacking less just naturally.
If this happens to you then the weight may well balance out before you hit 3rd trimester and put a bit more on.
You can try the usual things - swapping out a few snacks for healthier versions, adding 2 short walks or some additional activity to your day.
Fingers crossed it all just balances out! Ultimately if you’re healthy and baby is healthy then weight can be lost after x
