Induction over a bank holiday weekend

I'm 40+7 wks and due to see mw tomorrow. 2nd DC, 1st went to 40+11.

I'm tempted to accept induction soon if it's offered as am really struggling (horrific pg, hyperemesis throughout) but am wary of doing it over a bank holiday weekend.

Would they even offer this though? Or would they suggest waiting until Tuesday? I'd be 42wks by then. Does anyone know what staffing levels/skill mix are like on a maternity ward?

Baby moving fine.

Most hospitals will offer induction over a bank holiday weekend. Staffing levels will be the same as any other weekend, they just won't have the extra staff they have during the week for the elective caesarean list and routine procedures etc.
