Consultant made me cry...

My pelvic pain & sciatica are terrible. I hobbled in to see the consultant today to discuss my birth plan. I'm 36weeks, 1st baby was induced due to preeclampsia so I'm on aspirin, 2nd baby was small so I'm having growth monitoring & I'm anaemic and on anti-depressants. The LOVELY consultant has booked my induction for next week!
I cried tears of joy in the waiting room!

That's great that you are pleased. Just out of interest did they fully explain the induction process and that at 37 weeks there is a higher risk of failed induction/EMCS?

Yes. I've been induced before, so thankfully know the score.
I'm being induced at 38wks so risks lessens a little.
