So I feel dumb asking this as I have had 2 babies already ( now 5 and 7) but due to a issue with my pelvis and hips my midwife and consultant dosnt want me to go over my due date😓 they have offered a induction between 39 /40 weeks but I previously was induced with my last child and I really really struggled with the whole process and hated it so not something I want to do again if I am honest !!!! They said I can be offered sweeps from 38 weeks so that gives me just over a week to go naturally before they will induce !!! So I was wondering what tactics ect you used to make sure your cervix was short and soft quicker so that a sweep would potentially work !!! I’m only 29 weeks atm but want to be prepared to start getting myself ready so that hopefully a sweep will work
