Babymule or backpack recommendations

Hi,
Dc2 is due in 6 weeks and I’m on the search for a changing backpack.
We currently use a normal backpack but it’s too small for toddler, newborn bits.
I’ve seen the Babymule online but not sure if it’s as huge as it sounds!
Can anyone recommend a changing backpack or normal rucksack that’s big enough for newborn and toddler. I’d like something we can use for holidays, days out etc for when we don’t need a changing bag too, so something that would last quite a few years!
Thanks

I ended up changing to a baby mule. DD is now 2 and we still use it for big days out so we can fit in the picnic, toys, waterproof etc and as a beach bag on holiday.

I have a baby mule and it's pretty huge! I've been able to fit all our stuff in there for an overnight stay (as in me and two kids) including wash bag and football kit!

Oh and my two are now 5 and 3 so I don't use it daily anymore but always on holidays,?flights and days out! It's definitely coming out of retirement when #3 comes later this year!

Thanks ladies, would you say it’s too big for daily use or just about right? I can’t d code between Babymule and just a normal backpack.

@Janem83 nope I used it for normal every day use as well - I just don't use it at the minute because I'm at the lovely stage where I just need my purse and keys as the kids are in school/nursery!

I used to use it for everyday use but now the toddler has a small toddler sized back pack.

When #2 comes along I will be going back to the baby mule.
