10 weeks, ridiculous fatigue

Hi all! First time posting, I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant after a mmc in November last year. I've had nausea since just over 3 weeks, and fatigue followed soon after. I am/was delighted to have near constant symptoms as it reassures me given I had very sparse symptoms when pregnant last year.

Since I hit 10 weeks all my symptoms have ramped up and headaches and lightheadedness have joined in. I can barely function. I've had to take a few days off work, and have spent most of the past week on the couch or in bed.

Not entirely sure why I'm posting, guess just looking for reassurance that others have been through the same and normal life will resume soon!

I was pretty lucky with nausea but was floored with exhaustion for the first four months or so. I'd come in from work, sleep 2 hours, get up and eat dinner then go back to bed until my alarm went off for work in the morning. Accidental 4 hour naps at the weekend were a common occurance too!

It might take time but hopefully it'll become manageable and then your energy will return.

Aah that's what I was doing until last week, naps after work and weekends. It was great! Just this last week insomnia has crept in so although I'm totally drained I'm struggling to nap.

For me the exhaustion passed around 18 weeks. Just rest when you can and gets lots of help around the house.

Oh my goodness the exhaustion is unreal! I was honestly more tired after 14 hours sleep than after 30 hours travelling to Australia! I started getting more energy around 23 weeks but it varies for everyone. Am 29 weeks now and feel much less tired than in the first trimester.

found the fatigue during early pregnancy very full on, and felt better around 14 weeks.

Had a lot more energy today, hooray! What a difference, hope it keeps up!
