Desperate to know if anyone has experienced this. For two days now it sounds like someone has left the phone off the hook! I have researched tinnitus but just wondered if anyone developed this in pregnancy!

This can be a sign of anaemia. Also you need to get your blood pressure checked.

Thank you, I was in hospital two days ago with a huge bleed so may be related. Thank you.

Oh dear. Yes it could be related.
Did they do any blood samples before discharging you? Or arrange follow up? Or give you iron tablets?

I had this from about 34 weeks....I thought there was a dog crying.....strange thing was if my DH out his ear to mine...he could hear the noise too.
It drove me insane ...midwife agreed to induce at 40 weeks but I went into labour the day before. As soon as I delivered it was gone!!!!
I feel for you !

I had my bloods done, yes- they didn’t mention anything. I wonder if it’s worth popping in to re check. My blood pressure was perfect apparently.
God it’s driving me insaine, glad to hear it went after birth for you, ice! I’m having a planned C section for low placenta so hopefully not too much longer!

The thing is that if your hb is checked too soon after a bleed it will appear ok. Checked again 48 hours later it is very likely to have dropped to a more accurate reading do to a mechanism called haemodilution.
So you could well be anaemic.

Did people’s tinnitus go? Same thing happened to me at week 23, now week 37 and still got it. It’s horrendous :(
