Hello girls I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I want to know if this is normal? Anyone else experienced this? Beginning to really get me down now went to the doctors and they said it was shaving rash but I've never had it before I was pregnant and all the other doctors just say it's due to excess sweat and you sweat more in pregnancy anyone else had this?

Looks a bit like Intertrigo which is what I get.

Excess sweat and rubbed by clothes = a painful red rash or spots that can become smelly like sweat rash.

Don't use any soap, get some Dermol from chemist and use it as a soap substitute or as a barrier cream when skin is dry and it will help get rid of it.

Doesn't contain any nasties and is safe in pregnancy.

It does look a little like shave rash in the photo but looks up the above on whatever site you want to use and you'll probably relate to the symptoms.

It’s possible it’s PUPP. I got it late in 3rd trimester. It’s annoying and miserable, but harmless thankfully. Do you have any on your bump? Mine started on my thighs first then moved to bump. I made a few dietary changes and used a special soap (pine tar soap) and it did mostly go away in about 2 weeks.

I had this when I was pregnant down my inner things, around my hips, behind my knees and under my boobs I assume it was all the extra swearing that caused it. I was back and forward at the doctor and tried every cream possible but nothing worked until a maternity doctor said it looked like dermatitis and prescribed hydrocortisone which cleared it up straight away. I used it along with Aveeno and oat baths to ease the itching. I really feel for you I suffered for weeks it was at its worst at night when I was lying in bed I hardly slept for about 3 weeks with the stinging and itching.
