Has anyone else had confusion with how far gone you are? I had an internal scan few weeks ago and was told I was about 3/4 weeks but today have been told I'm 7 weeks with a normal scan but worked out from internal I should be about 5/6 weeks can any help and confirm if this new scan could be wrong x

They can't accurately date you until about 12 weeks, which is why you should go by your last missed period until then.

The baby is so tiny at this stage that it's difficult to get accurate measurements.

I did think that, I know I'm not that far gone as didn't have sex then to be pregnant but the lady was adamant she was right. Thank you x

I was scanned to be 12 weeks 5 days, 3 weeks later I was scanned again and was 13w2d. Had to change my mental plans from having a baby in July to having one in August!!
