I'm 40+1, which I can see is barely overdue but ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!

Anyone else want to join me in a little pity party?

DC1 went 11 days over 😭😭😭

How are you all coping? What are you up to?

7 days over here and feeling very up and down to be honest. I've just been trying to keep busy and do things that I won't be able to do as easily with 2 kids - like sit in a cafe with a book while my eldest is at nursery. I was going to the gym 3 times a week up to my.due date but pelvic pain has kicked in so I'm just swimming and walking every day.
I think a lot of my down spells are nerves about the birth. I'm booked in for induction next week at 12 days over and I'm scared. My eldest was a really quick, complicated induction at 34 weeks so I've just had that playing on my mind recently too.

Hopefully not too much longer for either of us!

Girl 7 days over Flowers

I know what you mean re up and down. I'm really enjoying having more time off with DC1, but am finding it exhausting at the same time as DH still in work. I'm loving having a bit of time to myself whilst DC1 in nursery. I think I'm more appreciative of the peace and quiet as I know what's to come second time around.

I've been ill throughout pg so have had to stop exercising for the last few months which I've found really hard. I'm looking forward to moving more and getting my body back to some semblance of normality.

I'm also having the birth fears, even though DC1 was a textbook homebirth. I'll also be booking in for induction around day 12 if need be. I know I CAN give birth, it's just the sense of the unknown that makes me nervous I think.

I hope DC2 makes an appearance soon for you.
