Did you use fake tan during pregnancy? Which brand?

I'm going to the races on Sunday and religiously apply faketan I am so pale naturally and I hate it! But since becoming pregnant I haven't used it and am been very careful about what I use. (Had a previous MC and pray for a healthy baby) I'm 8+5 and tend to use Bondi sands. People's experiences are very valuable please :) (the website and all info says there is no evidence that it effects a fetus but none saying it doesnt either??) x

All that’ll happen is baby will come out wotsit coloured.

Fake tan is fine, I've used my Bondi Sands on a few occasions throughout.

This might be useful to you

I've been told spray tans can be harmful because of the fumes but the tans you put on with a mitt are fine. I'm currently on holiday (20 weeks) and have been using St tropez all week.

I'm soo white I practically glow :( :)

I read that fake tan is okay as long as it’s not spray tan
I used St Tropez express tan a couple of times, I didn’t put it directly on my bump tho, I don't know why 😂😂

You'll be absolutely fine! The only thing I'd make sure of before going the whole hog is to do a small patch test. Your skin can react differently during pregnancy and things you didn't react to can cause a reaction. Also, tan can do strange things and come out a different colour.

Apparently 'skinny tan' is ok to use during pregnancy. It doesn't make the user super skinny though Sad it's skinny through being completely natural with no harmful chemicals.

Can't say if it's any good as I haven't tried it
