Confused about my pregnancy test

I bought a Boots own early detection pregnancy test but it was difficult to read because I wasn't sure if there were 2 lines. I got my friend to look at it and she wasn't sure either. Thing is, I don't have a lot of money so I don't really want to pay £9+ for a single Clear Blue test, even though they're probably more accurate. Should I try cheap pregnancy tests or just give in and splash out on Clear Blue?

If you are testing on the day of your expected period or after you should get a clear result on any brand of test. I would wait a couple of days and make sure you use the first urine of the day- any brand should give an accurate result at that stage.

I'm a week late so I thought thought that was late enough for a conclusive test. It wasn't my first urine of the day though.

I use the ones from Poundland. There are three in a box. They work well.

Clear blue are actually less reliable.
Go to wilko and get the cheap strip tests 5 for a £1 and save yourself £8.

Either try some cheapy ones now and hope for the best or wait 3/4 days and get a more expensive one - Will defo have a result by then either way! I agree though, they are soooo expensive when you're testing a few times on the trot! I hope you all the best though darling! X

I used poundland cheap strips and two Sainsbury's own pregnancy tests. Test first thing in the morning.
