Pregnancy not sinking in

So I found out I was pregnant on Monday. Had to tell work yesterday as I work in a high risk environment and they need to start the risk assessments. Told my fiance and he is thrilled. We are keeping it quiet until the 12 week scan if possible.

All well and good right? But I can't seem to stop testing to 'check' that I am still pregnant. I keep thinking that all the tests are wrong and that I will suddenly get my period on Friday and that will be it gone. My fiance is being supportive and letting me crack on with the tests as we had loads anyway.

Has anyone got any tips on how to accept that the result is real and that everything will be ok? Because otherwise it's going to be a long nine months.....

Give yourself time to adjust. Have any symptoms kicked in?

I have a bump now so pretty hard to ignore or think it's not real.

It's only been a few days, once you have symptoms (if you do) and a bump and appointments it will soon sink in. Saying that, I have to remind myself that I'm pregnant and not fat even tho I'm in third trimester. Being pregnant was always something that was going to happen to other people.
