35+3 weeks pregnant. Since lunchtime I've been experiencing intermittent cramping which I think could be from something I ate earlier. But it might not. I dunno. The cramps are quite high, around the top of my bump, where baby hangs out (she hasn't dropped yet). And they're not regular. But they are still happening.

Talk me down, Mumsnet, my brain is going crazy!

If it’s at the top of your bump, that sounds like BH to me. That’s where I feel mine. (Am also 35+3 and getting exactly the same!)

Ok, BH I can just about cope with.

I had my twins at 35+1 (emcs, no contractions) and I’d been having BH for a couple of months but by the end they were full on. I almost went to hospital a few times as they were less than 3 mins apart and they did hurt! I also have endo and am on morphine so I was worried I wouldn’t recognise early labour because I’m used to severe pelvic pain.

I got a contraction timing app and that helped because I could see they weren’t getting closer together and they weren’t building in intensity.

I had contractions with DS1 and they were definitely more of a disabling all-over experience! Not enjoying these BH though. Will drink a pint of water.
