Hi I need help. I got the Iona test done 3rd I’m still waiting for the result keep being told it’s not ready yet starting to really worry something has come up. I thought test was meant to be quick turn around.

It often depends where they send the sample to for testing. Some companies use labs in the US and results can take two weeks. Did they not tell you when you had the test how long the results would take?

I was told it went to a local lab in the uk

I think if they said a local UK lab it would be unlikely for them to send to America but I definitely think the bank holiday weekend will have an impact as the labs won't work.
I would be tempted to call them tomorrow though and ask them exactly when they would expect to get your results back, that way you can stop wondering.
