Hi, just looking for some advice, i found out on Friday i am pregnant with my first baby, i am over the moon but also such a worrier!
Since friday i have been getting cramps in my lower abdomen and a dull ache in my lower back, the same cramps i get when i have my period. I have taken about ten tests to confirm, and they keep getting darker which i know is a good sign, and been confirmed by a digital test.
Does anyone know if these cramps are normal?
Also any advice on how to stop worrying so much! Because i think im going to be like this until i get my 12 week scan, and dont want to become stressed as i know thats bad for baby!
Just so desperately want this to all work out! :) x

I'm in the same boat, I found out on Wednesday and have cramped on and off since. Everything u have read suggests it's normal it I'm doing daily pregnancy tests still for piece of mind. Totally uneccesary I know but it helps me.

Getting to the point now where I'm starting to relax a little more. I'm doing everything I should be and taking pregnacare. I still worry every time I go to the loo though. Just can't wait to get past 12 weeks.

100% totally normal to feel period pain cramps! You will be on pants watch as I know it can feel like your period is coming any second but hopefully, fingers crossed...it won't and everything will be fine!

But it is normal and just try to relax and let nature do it's thing.....

I had cramps from around 6dpo to 6 weeks ish? Your uterus is growing and stretching so they’re nothing to worry about :)

You will be on constant knicker watch as PP said. You’ll probably find that you’ve got a lot of extra discharge which will make you feel damp downstairs.
