Inner corner thigh itching

Hey all I'm 29 weeks pregnant and I've had a lot of itching in the inner corner thighs I woke up last night sweating and really itchy I thought it could be because I was warm anyone else experienced this? Xx

I've been getting proper hives on my legs for weeks now, almost every morning, insanely itch. I'm 20 weeks along. I asked my obstetrician and she said it's most likely heat-related and I should try sleeping with a thinner duvet. I've done some more research and also came across an article that mentioned increased histamine levels during pregnancy that can cause allergic symptoms.
If it bothers you, go see your gp and they will most likely give you a cream.
HOWEVER, if the itching appears on your feet and hands or gets really bad, see your gp immediately as it can be a sign of liver malfunction.
