As it says, I'm curious. I'm 39+1, FTM and up with vicious heartburn. I've been having aunt flo type cramps since Friday but still no show no waters. :-(

Please distract me with your tales!

Contractions.

With DC1, I had on and off cramps for 2-3 days. Had a sweep at 40weeks and they said 2-3cm and the cramps started thereafter. First real sign was first strong contaction that really there was no not knowing I was in Labour!!

With DC2, I expected it be be same but couldn’t have been any different. First sign was waters breaking at 2am. Contractions didn’t start for another 4 hours.

Good luck OP, I’m sure your time will come
soon.

A huge pop! And my waters flooding everywhere. 'Twas rather dramatic!

Contractions that woke me up

With dd 1&2 it was a strong contraction, followed by more a few minutes apart. With dd1 I lost my plug at least a week before labour and not at all with dd2.

It really is one of those things which is different for every woman.
