So worried...bleeding

I'm so worried!! Am 5+5 today and yesterday (and a bit the day before) had some very light tan/brown/creamy discharge. This afternoon it has turned a very light pink. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or has done previously? It's only when I wipe and I have no cramps. I took another pregnancy test yesterday evening which couldn't have been more positive (super super dark line) and have been feeling nauseous all day, which I am taking as positive signs. I'm so upset and worried though that things are heading the same way again after my MC 5 months ago. I know no one can actually tell me what is going to happen I just wanted to write it down... So scared.

Spotting can be completely normal during early pregnancy. I love had a lot of brown spotting in early pregnancy. A lot is implanting and embedding into your womb at this time. If spotting turns red and accompanied with cramping I'd probably go to a&e and ask them to refer me for scan at EPU

Yup is happening to me now.
Looks bright red/ pink but watered down. I went for scan and I have a subchorionic hemorrhage. They put me on bed rest for a week as a precaution so definitely go and see your doctor. I went back for another scan on Friday and it's already smaller. I'm still bleeding apparently can bleed for a while depending on size.
Of course yours maybe something different. So best get it checked out. Just know that most of the time it doesn't mean anything terrible.

I had bleeding like you describe at 6 weeks and again at 7 weeks. Went for a scan both times and they couldn’t find a thing wrong. They think it might have been implantation bleeding. It all turned out fine, and the result is currently smiling up at me as I try to put her to bed!

So glad to hear positive stories. I'm just so worried as I had spotting last time... And that didn't turn out so well. I had two early scans with that spotting too, one of which showed heartbeat and everything looked great. This spotting is definitely different though. Defo no cramping and took another pregnancy test which was just as strong as yesterday's. I know that doesn't mean much... I didn't get a negative test after MC last time for over 2 weeks. But in my mind it makes me feel slightly better. Bleeding seems to be easing off a bit but isn't being replaced by normal discharge... Just all a bit dry now! Lol. I can't get to a docs until Thursday but will go then if things don't improve. What other symptoms are there with a heamatoma?

So this is happening again... A week of no bleeding then light pink again when wiping. I should be 6+4 today. Surely implantation must have happened by now... Is this the start of another miscarriage?

I didn’t have any spotting during my missed miscarriages but with this pregnancy (16 weeks and so far so good) I had brown/light pink spotting at 4 weeks and some pink spotting at 5 weeks. Spotting can be completely normal during the first trimester.

I know... I don't even know why I am asking on here. I have read probably every post on the Internet about spotting and for every positive story out there there is also a negative. So basically I have come to the conclusion that It might be okay, or it might not. I just wish someone could tell me, but realise even doctors can't tell me that. I've convinced myself for some reason that I have something wrong and I'm predisposed to recurrent miscarriages and this one is going to go the same way. I am even rehearsing conversationa to have with my gp to get them to start looking into things and the argument I will put up if they say you have to have 3 mcs before we do tests. I'm going mad.

At 12 weeks pregnant with DD2 I went to a local shopping centre, looked down I had poured with blood all over the seat and floor. Bled consistently for the next several hours. A midwife on the phone told me I had miscarried and to go to A and E. I had to fight to get a scan as the next one they had free was in 4 DAYS. Was scanned and all was well. Lady doing scan said it was not unusual. I just wanted to give some reassurance that even heavy bleeding doesn't necessarily mean the end of a pregnancy. Get checked out if worried OP.

SophieStripe · 20/05/2018 12:51

Wow that must have been so scary. And embarrassing right in the shopping centre! Glad it worked out for you though. Im just so worried because last time this happened it didnt work out for me. I'm going to go to EPU tomorrow and get scanned. This pregnancy I feel a bit more clued up so will try to push them for more answers. I just wish I could have a fast forward button or at least a crystal ball. Even after a good scan I will still be scared. But at least it's a step in the right direction if they see something positive tomorrow.
