I'm I Pregnant or Not?

Hi Ladies

I'm new here and I help some advice.

I've been ttc for almost 3 yrs now.

Last week did a test with fmu on a poas (pee on a stick) Only 1 pink line showed up. About 3/4 hours later I checked again and a second faint pink line was showing.

So I decided to do.another test with a dip in the pot one. Again only 1 pink line showed. Again I rechecked probably after a couple hours and a 2nd faint pink line showed.

Both of these test were the Freedom HPT from Asda. Are they reliable?

The next day I started spotting pink and that night full heavy af which lasted normal 6 period days.

I've tested again after period finished and now I'm not getting a bfp. I've been using cheapie hpt (not freedom ones).

What shall.i do?

This period that came was 52 days late.

Also.like.to.mention a bit of my history

Dignoised with pcos. But I have 1 daugther which I thankfully conceived naturally.

Took birth control.for 2 years. Came off that ending of 2014. Since then been ttc.

Been to Dr at hosp. They checked everything. Beacsue of pcos they put me on metaformin. Was on that a for about a yr. Didn't continue with it.

They did bloods to check if i am ovulating. Which I wasn't so they but me on Clomid.

Was given 6 rounds of Clomid from Nov 2017. They 're did my bloods to check if i am ovulating on Clomid which again I wasn't.

I've just had 5 rounds of Clomid. As this period came late (52 days late) which hasn't happened on Clomid.

So atm I'm not on any more medicine.

Dr can now only offer me IVF

Do u think on this round 5 of Clomid I can be possibly pregnant?

I’m sorry, but if you had a period and are getting bfns it sounds like you’re not pregnant

The faint positives could have been showing a chemical pregnancy or could just have been unreliable results as you read them after so long. I would try not to dwell on it.

I'm sorry OP but lines that show up after such a long time just aren't reliable (it does say to discard the test after the wait time for this very reason). If you've had a period and negative results after it would really seem that you aren't pregnant. In future you should get rid of the test once the control time is over. I hope you get your bfp soon

It'll say on the pack to disregard results after a certain time, usually around 15 minutes.

Sounds like evaporation lines unfortunately. Hope you get your BFP soon.

Oh no that sounds so hard. If you've had a period and are getting negatives you aren't pregnant. Can imagine it's hard not to get your hopes up.

I was holding onto hope this time as I have been having slight symptoms.

Sore boobs, nauseous, fatigue and I just today this morn had random bleeding in my teeth while brushing.

Can all these be down to something else?

I got my BFP 2 days again. Did 3 hpt and came up + straight away

I'm so grateful. 3 years of ttc.

GP does not confirm pregnancy now. She said if u did it as home and it came up + then u r pregnant. They don't do them on the NHS now?

you have to self refer now! i went to see my GP and he had a good chat (had a miscarriage previously)

You have to self refer then wait until 12-14 weeks...
personally im paying for a private scan at 8
