Darker line more hcg??

Okay so got bfp Tuesday. Was 4 weeks exactly. Had a scan yesterday and couldn't see anything as was too early, fair enough but obviously I'm worried! My hcg was 41 on Thursday and 60 on Friday. I had bloods again Saturday but got to wait till my repeat scan on Tuesday before I get the results... they said they were low results but as long as they go up it's okay....

So what I'm asking is if I use the same strip tests as when I found out at the same time of day everyday and it gets darker, does that mean the hcg is going up? All I've got to keep me positive!

So in the pic, the top test was taken on the 8th of this month... had to use flash and edit lighting to see it on the pic!!

The bottom one was today, 13th, no flash and no edit... is this a good sign???

Darker line more hcg??

Couldn't they see anything at all? I had a scan at 4 weeks and thru could see my small dot (baby).
I agree hcg is quite low although the rule is as long as they're increasing but I think you'd have to wait till Tuesday to be completely sure.

I'm 4 weeks by lmp, they said the lining was thick and odds are they won't be able to see anything and they said its normal but as my hcg results were 41 on Thursday then 60 on friday they are going up so that shows I am pregnant

I'm guessing I'm quite early and ovulated late maybe? They said it's all normal and I've not had any pains or bleeding so fingers crossed! Just feeling like I'm not pregnant so keep taking tests

Please don't do this. I know it's so tempting (and, full disclosure, I took a pregnancy test every day for a couple of weeks in my two most recent pregnancies, one of which was a miscarriage and one of which continued, so this is a 'do as I say, not as I do!'). The tests just aren't sensitive enough for what you want them to do, especially at such relatively low levels of hcg. I've dipped two of those kinds of tests in the same urine sample and got different line darknesses. In this pregnancy, I was convinced it was gone because one day I took a test and it was significantly lighter than the day before. I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow. It is a good sign if the line gets darker, but more on a 'week to week' scale than a 'day to day' one - you can't get an answer to this quicker than your actual, proper, scientific answer on Tuesday.

I know this is really, really hard and I hope the appointment on Tuesday is reassuring for you Flowers

Was there a reason that they scanned you so early? My local hospital won't it before 6 weeks at absolute minimum, because the chances of seeing nothing in a perfectly healthy pregnancy are so large before then. I was told your levels need to be at least 1000 before you can see anything on a scan, so if yours are doubling normally it's still going to be a while.

Pain in one side suggesting ectopic but they said it my hcg is rising then it's not likely

Good luck for Tuesday. Let us know how it goes.
