Early scan anxiety? 7 weeks

By my own dates I’m 7+3 today (going by date of conception, very long cycles!). My anxiety has been through the roof recently and although initially DH didn’t want to pay for an early private scan, he’s agreed and we’ve managed to get a slot for 4:15 today to hopefully put my mind at ease.

Except now I’m in a bit of panic about the early scan and what if it’s not good news?! I don’t really know what to expect for 7 weeks. Anyone had one roughly the same time and have any ideas what I should expect?

@MagicalCreatures so glad to hear you’re doing well too ❤️ Yep they’ve moved me to Boxing Day now! I definitely cried when I saw the heartbeat, the ladies in the room doing the ultrasound were so lovely though and seemed genuinely chuffed for me as well, was a really lovely experience :) I just can’t wait to tell people now!

@PickettBowtruckles I know the feeling. It’s so hard keeping it to yourself. I’m going to have another scan between 9-10 weeks as I’m just so scared of having a missed miscarriage. My early scan was at 6+4 and waiting another 6 weeks till I’m 12 is just too long.
I know people will think it’s being paranoid but it has already happened to so many people it just doesn’t seem as rare as it should be x
