Melasma/Chloasma

Anyone else suffering with hyperpigmentation? I had it with DC1, but it's much worse now I'm pregnant with DC2. It's spread right under each eye, on my nose and on my forehead. I look very strange.

Is there anything I can actually do about it? Using SPF 50 sun block hasn't made any difference.

I know it'll fade gradually after DC2 is born but it's just so annoying.

I have a small patch on the side of my face. It's really annoying.

I've found Clinique dark spot corrector helpful previously but it only reduces it a bit. I wouldn't bother until after pg tho.

A good friend had it very bad and she ended up having laser surgery once she had finished breastfeeding. It really was VERY bad though, the laser totally cleared it up.

For now, just keep on with the factor 50. I'm hoping mine fades!!!
