Biofreeze

Iv just put bio freeze on my husbands legs and washed my hands straight away but didn’t even think if it was safe or not to use.

It states on the website that it hasn’t been tested on nursing or pregnant women and to speak to doctor before use.

It’s main ingredient is menthol and doesn’t contain aspirin or anything.

I have rang midwife triage to check and the midwife said she had never heard of it. I explained what it was and she said aslong as I didn’t put it on my tummy she can’t see a problem.

Has anyone else used this whilst pregnant? X

Is it like herbal muscle cream?

As long as you have washed your hands really well then it should be fine and if a midwife isn't going bananas then it's a good sign.

Menthol is ok in pregnancy in small doses (Olbas Oil, chewing gum etc) so as long as you didn't down a bottle of it then shrugs

Maybe get hubby to do himself next time if your worried.
