Antenatal referral lost?

Saw the GP at 7 weeks and was referred for antenatal care. Still hadn't heard anything this week (10 weeks) so rang and was told referral was lost so they re-sent it yesterday. GP's office said if I don't have a letter in a week or so, to ring again and re-request the referral.

I'm 11 weeks Monday and meant to be seeing consultants due to IVF, age, and prior losses. I've paid for a Harmony test privately and just had a scan so I know baby is okay for now, but should I be worried about a delay in care? I reckon if my referral has gone through this time, I won't be having a booking in appointment until at least 13-14 weeks, which seems a bit late?

Keep pushing. It took me 5 weeks to finally get my booking appointment. I rang them every other day when they i formed me they had lost my referral. Only when I kept bugging them did someone sort it there and then on the phone.

My booking appointment was done at 12 and 4 and then scan at 13+1 I literally kept pestering them. I ended up paying for a private scan so I knew my dates.

Had this problem too and eventually ended up going down to the hospital to self-refer!
