Chicco next to me with a divan bed??

Is this doable? I'm just starting to look and love the idea of this. I've looked online and it looks like it's just for frame beds. Is this right?

If so, is it worth getting and using only in crib mode? I like how big it is. Thanks 🙂

I used it with a divan bed. Worked perfectly well. It was one of my favourite purchases. Good luck with the new arrival! Grin

“Fits most types of beds easily, even divans as the bedside feet fold to allow the crib to move up close to the frame and mattress.”
From mothercare website

It depends how tall your bed is if it will be the right height or not, I know some divan beds are too tall for it Sad

somersetsoul · 11/05/2018 21:08

Thank you! The bed is 58cm so within the range.

I went direct to the Chicco website! I'll look at mothercare now 🙂

Yep will be fine!!

CathyandHeathcliff · 11/05/2018 21:09

I'm getting a Chicco next to me dream delicacy. It says it fits all bed frames including a Divan.

ILikeMyChickenFried · 11/05/2018 21:10

Fine and dandy. There're excellent IMO

MouseLove · 11/05/2018 23:36

Have a look at the snuzpod too. Slightly different base to the chicco, would sit next to any bed, and you can remove the top to act as a crib.

MyDcAreMarvel · 12/05/2018 00:35

It’s on offer from mothercare as well.

snowy1982 · 12/05/2018 07:30

Can I ask where you get your height information from? I have been looking for both Chicco and SnuzPod and keep finding different info. My bed is tall (comes in around 60cm) so am wondering if I will have to go for a Moses basket instead

MouseLove · 12/05/2018 07:55

Chicco height range from 35cm to 52 cm
Snuzpod is adjustable from 37-58cm

snowy1982 · 12/05/2018 08:09

Thanks @MouseLove. Am I right in thinking the cot can be lower than mattress by a couple centimetres (read that online somewhere)?

HanSpan1 · 12/05/2018 08:21

If your thinking of getting one, have alook on Amazon, the Chicco next to me Circles is in offer at £135, (currently £150 plus other sites), i checked price tracker and its the lowest it has ever been!

MouseLove · 12/05/2018 08:54

I think the chicco is £125 on mothercare.

I don't think you'd want it more than a few Cm lower than your bed so if your bed is 60cm the snuzpod would be more ideal.

snowy1982 · 12/05/2018 09:55

Thanks again @MouseLove Smile

MouseLove · 12/05/2018 10:12

You're very welcome, can't wait until I'm at the stage to be looking to buy!! (11w today) x

snowy1982 · 12/05/2018 10:42

I’m 23w, wasn’t planning to buy just yet, but I have a voucher that I could use which runs out in a couple weeks so may as well get it now
