Up until now it's been okay. I do suffer with anxiety but it's been fairly under control since I found out.

I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow and I'm starting to worry about how I'll cope. The thought of having a baby is sending me into a huge panic, I'm trying not to think about it, but I can't help it.

People keep saying to me "I bet you're so excited" and "Such exciting times" etc.
I just get a horrible feeling when people say it. My mum in particular keeps saying "It'll be the making of you".

Take a deep breath and find something to distract yourself. Something real, not just 'trying not to think about it' because that never works. I similarly suffer from anxiety and I find it comes in waves, it definitely feels like it's related to hormones. If you can focus on something else for a bit it should pass.

If it is really persistent you need to talk to your midwife or GP about it.
