Fitbits safe?

I've been gifted a Fitbit. I know nothing about them or how they work and not yet read instructions.

Are they safe in pregnancy?

Is it just like wearing a digital watch? Or more like wearing a mobile phone in terms of potential radiation?

I'm clueless, obviously!

Well I'm 33 weeks and have been wearing mine all the way through. No one has ever told me not to. They work via blu tooth so don't think radiation is an issue.

It's perfectly safe, don't worry about that. If you have one that measures your heart rate, expect it to be slightly higher than average while you're pregnant.

I find the most useful feature is the reminder to get up and move every hour.
