No Bloods Taken - Second Midwife Appointment (15 weeks)

Has anyone else been for their second Midwife appointment at the doctors and not had any further bloods taken?

I was told the results on my last blood test which was all really good, she took my blood pressure and tested my urine but that was it?

Not totally sure, but I think this is normal. Did you get bloods close to your 12 week scan?

If you look in your notes it should show you a timeline of events. Bloods for me were 8 and 28 weeks (thus far at least) and urine/bp checks at all others :) hth

I had mine this morning! In my area at least they only take bloods at booking appointment then at 28 weeks. Unless maybe they have a specific concern. The other appts are wee tests, blood pressure, doppler, and later on the silly tape measure thing! Hope that helps?

No bloods at my 16 week - we had at booking and 28 weeks. So it's normal imo unless you have some reason for extra bloods.

Mine were 8, 28 and 36 weeks.

What blood tests were you expecting to be taken op? I didn't have any at my second appointment, only first and 28 weeks but it can be different for everyone depending on any medical conditions etc.

Thanks for all the replies! Puts my mind at ease. Not sure why I was expecting more bloods to be taken, I'm sure the midwife said at my booking in appt that they would take more bloods at my 2nd midwife appt. hospital took some at my 12 week scan so I guess they will be taken again soon

I didn't have any bloods taken at my 16 week appointment, had them taken after my 12 week scan and just had a test today to see if I have immunity to slapped cheek.
