Lumps on perineal area (TMI!)

Hi

Started perineal massage today at nearly 38 weeks and I found at least 2, maybe 3 lumps each about the size and shape of a dried pea just inside the entrance to vagina on the perineum as far as I can work out (toward anus anyway). They definitely weren't there before pregnancy but no idea when they might have arrived!! I don't have any soreness /symptoms and they didn't give at all when I prodded them so I'm assuming it's not varicose veins.

Anyone got any ideas/had the same? I'm wondering whether to make Dr appt or just wait and see if they go after birth. Not seeing midwife until 39+6 now so could be too late to mention to her at next appt.

I’d give your midwife a call, just to be on the safe side.

I had one the size of a grape at about 37weeks! It bursted without I realize, no pain nothing! But I went to the midwife to get it checked when I found it'
