I’m 21 weeks with my second baby. i only put half a stone on after my first DD but this time i feel like i’m absolutely massive! i noticed last night my work trousers feel really tight on my thighs and when i looked i have 2 stretch marks on the top of one leg 😢 i’ve got a long way to go so don’t want to end up humongous! for context i wasn’t small beforehand, a size 16 and i was following slimming world.

A big part of the problem is i’m so fussy with food! still feeling nauseous every now and then and am snacking a lot, i never feel like eating tea and will often me or dh will cook it then i don’t fancy it, then end up snacking later on!

Anybody else feeling the same and any tips?

I have no tips, but I've been weighing myself weekly to try to keep on top of my weight (apparently if you were 'overweight' before you should try to gain around 1-1.75lb per fortnight in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters) and I seem to be gaining 2lb a week at the moment (I'm 18+4) and I don't seem to be able to stop it. It's driving me nuts! I really hope it slows down soon.

I gained so differently with mine. One I was a size 12 giving birth (not maternity) but the first I was huge, beyond all sizes I went through. Third in between. I ended up the slimmest after the one where I gained the most! There’s no rhyme or reason

i’ve not been weighing myself. i’m too scared! it’s my legs that’s made me most worried, i thought any weight i would put on in pregnancy would be on my bump 😩
