First pregnancy, any advice?

Hello all!
I am new to mumsnet and am currently pregnant with my first child. My partner are thrilled, especially since we thought we would have a bit more difficulty conceiving with me having PCOS.

I am in my first trimester, and have been told that the first 3 months can be the most difficult. I was just wondering if any of you had any sort of advice you could offer? I have found myself second guessing everything I'm doing lately, worrying that anything could cause damage. Am I being too paranoid?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Read all the information on the NHS website about pregnancy, especially what to eat and avoid. I also bought a book called the Pregnancy Encyclopedia. It's a bit of a whopper but I find it really useful :)

Apart from that, try not to panic, try not to Google too much, and remember that Mumsnet is not necessarily representative of an average pregnancy as the people posting here are often looking for advice and reassurance for unusual circumstances! I'm 18 weeks in now with my first pregnancy - good luck with yours :)

Same as above but most of all relax and enjoy that beautiful little life growing inside of you 😍
