Baby's growth

I had my midwife appointment today. I'm 26 weeks and 6 days pregnant, she measured me with a tape measurer and said the fundal height is 24cm. To which she said she's going to book me a scan in for tommorw to get the measurements from a scan. She told me not to worry. But naturally I am worried and have been since I left the appointment. Has anybody else experienced this?

Also Iv had a look through my notes and was wondering if anyone can help me understand them. Iv attached a picture of the grow chart. Does this mean where the cross is my baby's weighs abit 500g? And if so is this right for the stage I'm at? And why has the midwife circled where it says EDD? What does hat stand for?

Fundal height measurements are very inaccurate. They vary a lot depending on who is doing them. They are just a guide to indicate when a growth scan is worth doing. My guess about EDD bring circled, is she is confirming she has double-checked the due date. The fundal height measurement is only useful if you have the correct EDD. Really don't worry about this. A scan is a much better indicator of growth.

I had this due to hyperemesis... They were worried about growth of baby due to bump size. Went for my scan, baby is perfectly fine :-) "exactly average" for this time in gestation I was told! I was 26 weeks then so around the same time :-)

Try not to worry, I'm sure baby is fine :-)
