The fear before a scan

Why is it I feel fine and dandy but the day before a scan I start to freak something is wrong and spend the whole day and night nervous and anxiety ridden.

I'm getting my dating scan tomorrow and have already seen a heartbeat at 8 week scan. But keep getting small amount of blood when wiping in cm, so bit nervous about tomorrow being ok. Haven't spoke to midwifes yet as thought no point as I've a scan tomorrow ahhh so nervous

I know exactly how you feel! I'm only 18 weeks and I've already had three scans (had high risk of downs so extra scans) and every time I'm fine until a day or two before when I'm convinced it's all gone wrong. Try not to panic about the spotting, it sounds fairly light so it's relatively normal. Good luck tomorrow xx

I'm exactly the same Ive got my gender scan and I'm scared to death that there will be a probably I've had 2 scans and all fine but my anxiety is through the roof xx
